my shadow

 My own shadow was following me.

And the poem had 4 lines and 4 stanzas also the rhyming pattern is all the same like AABB AABB AABB AABB the tone of the poem is heartbreaking-(because her husband has passed away and she thinks that her

shadow is her husband)  also, the poetic devices in this poem are simile- for he sometimes shoots up taller like an india rubber ball. hyperbole-I have a little shadow that goes in and out with me. The person who made this poem wants us to appreciate life.
